CHAPTER SIX
The Overcomer
At this point, we become empowered with the activations of graces and giftings that align or corresponds to your calling or assignment in God’s kingdom agenda.
This is when we can truly say we are Overcomers.
Romans 8:19-23 AMP says:
‘For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration and futility, not willingly [because of some intentional fault on its part], but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope [Eccl 1:2] that the creation itself will also be freed from its bondage to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now. [Jer 12:4, 11] And not only this, but we too, who have the first fruits of the Spirit [a joyful indication of the blessings to come], even we groan inwardly, as we wait eagerly for [the sign of] our adoption as sons—the redemption and transformation of our body [at the resurrection]. [2 Cor 5:2, 4; Eph 4:30]’
The world is not waiting for more religious activity. It is waiting for the manifestation of transformed men and women who carry the nature, power, wisdom, and love of God.
Those who seek Him deeply will know Him intimately. Those who know Him intimately will be transformed. Those who are transformed will manifest Him.
This is the journey of becoming.
The overcomer is not merely someone who survives difficult seasons. The overcomer is one who has allowed the Holy Spirit to complete a deep work of transformation within.
Overcomers live above carnality, compromise, spiritual laziness, and worldly systems.
They are believers who have become rooted in intimacy with God and established in spiritual maturity.
The life of the overcomer is evidence of the victory of Christ.
The overcomer understands that Christianity is not merely about receiving blessings from God but partnering with His purposes in the earth.
As believers mature, they begin to carry divine burdens for nations, generations, and souls.
Their prayers become aligned with God’s will. Their desires become aligned with God’s heart. Their lives become instruments for God’s glory.
The world desperately needs believers who accurately represent Jesus Christ.
Darkness is increasing across nations. Confusion is growing. Many hearts are empty despite material advancement.
Yet God is still raising sons and daughters who will shine as lights in this generation.
Those who know God deeply will stand differently. Those who walk intimately with Him will carry His presence. Those who are transformed by Him will reveal Him.
The call of this generation is not merely to be religious. The call is to become.
To become witnesses. To become mature sons. To become expressions of God’s nature. To become carriers of His glory.
This is the believer’s journey. This is the upward call. This is the manifestation of the sons of God.
